General Wins versus losses

I am fond of placing wagers on sports and there's this app that lets you know whether your wins are more than your losses. This is a good thing since the aim of any gambler is to make money ultimately. Do you keep track of this because it is highly likely that most of us have spent more than we've won?

I keep track of my monthly expenses because not only are you able to know how you're faring but it becomes apparent whether or not to continue or take a break. You have to constantly know where it is you stand.

You have to keep a track of how you fare in gambling. It makes no sense at all to bet blindly and not make anything at the end of the day. I monitor this very closely because I am able to change strategies where necessary.

There's a high chance that a lot of people don't know how they are faring in as far as wins versus losses are concerned. A gambler has to keep track of this always. It helps in developing better strategies and making important decisions.

This is very important especially because neither of these two events depend on each other. The main aim of gambling is to try and beat the house and so assessing the net effect is important. I've heard people who've never put in any money after the initial bankroll. It makes sense to gamble on your winnings.

I have chased losses before and have had long winning streaks as well. Whether or not the net effect is positive isn't something I'm very sure about but you raise a valid point. The main aim of gambling is to beat the house anyway.

I know many older people especially, that don't keep track. Most will tell you they win, however, seniors that I am aware of can't wait until their checks come in to hit the casino and waste a significant portion of their only income. They think if they win nicely a few time, that they are winners. I don't believe they are.
