When I visit Vegas for the first time later this year, what other sites and scenes should I be seeing?
I only ask because my other half won't want to be in the casinos the whole time!!

From what I have heard, Vegas is a perfect holiday destination and you should expect a high octane atmosphere during your stay.

I understand it is more popular because of betting so you may also want to visit MGM Grand, the biggest hotel casino covering about 22 acres

Depending on when you go, you should maybe set aside a couple of days just to lounge around the pool and take in some of the sunshine.

Even the biggest fan needs a little break from the gambling from time to time.

I stayed at the MGM many years ago and it was a great hotel that had an absolutely beautiful pool. I think a lot of people miss the pool when they stay in a hotel like that, because it's hidden behind all the glitz and the glamour.

I agree with the above. If you catch the right weather, Vegas is an absolutely fabulous place to sunbathe and get an immense tan!
Man, I could do with a bit of sunshine at the moment.

Cheers guys.
I am a bit of a sun lizard so I will definitely be spending a couple of days lounging in the sun around the pool if it is still hot enough in December.
