General What do you do with your winnings?

I always try to treat myself to something when I've had a decent win gambling. I go out of my way to buy something in fact.

If I didn't, I'm afraid it's inevitable that I'd just pay my winnings back to the casino! And I'd have nothing to show for my good luck

I would say "Scatter it all over my investment portfolio", but I'm not that old yet.

For now, I just pay down debt. Specifically, I make an extra payment on my car and tell the bank "Principal only please".

It's going to a good cause. The vehicle that got me to the casino.

It depends on how much I win! Sometimes if it's just a little win I will play it back at the casino. If it's a bigger win then I like to treat myself and my family to something nice. If I hit big big, then I put that in the bank.

Actually I should be more honest - sometimes the "treat" that I buy myself is paying down my debt a little too.

But that kind of sucks as a treat I always feel!!

I've won many times but the sad thing is that most of my winnings end up being used in placing wagers once or twice more. It is a wonderful thing to treat yourself after a win by going to a place or buying something memorable.

I usually go out for a nice dinner or maybe a spa treatment if I win. I try to get myself something I wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford. Won money never stays in my pocket too long. I always go for a drink first then decide what and who I will be taking on a mini vacation.
