Craps What dice do you like?

Is there a certain type of dice you prefer to play with? What do casinos near you use?

All craps casino dice are transparent now, and have sharp edges to avoid weighting or shaving. This doesn't mean they are all identical though. Most casinos use red dice because they stand out, but there are amber, green, different shades, etc. Some have a maker's mark, some don't. Some have sticker dots, paint or plastic-pressed during manufacture.

I prefer the amber ones with a maker's mark round the one, used by our nearest casino, because they've done quite well for me over the years.

I like dice that win for me as well. What are the odds? I don't play often but as long as the dice stand out I don't mind the colour. Green dice on a green table can be hard to read or even see.

Before I read this thread, I had never even given this any thought. For me it's not something that would make much difference in the way that I play a game.
