A lot has happened since the major soccer leagues (in Spain, England, Germany, Italy e.t.c) took a break. Neymar's sale to PSG for £196 million, which is an outrageous sum, seems to have changed the way player sales will be conducted. Are you already as excited like I am?

One of these days when I slow down, I'll start putting more attention on Soccer. It is very popular, it's an easy game to figure out, not many players on a team, etc.......Easy to follow.

Right now though, the best I can do is catch the re-caps on Mondays on how my Bronco's did on Sunday.

@zephyr 12, if I'm not mistaken, you follow NFL very closely, huh? I've never quite understood the rules but it looks like a game that anyone can easily follow. As for soccer, you are right! It's an easy game and apart from placing bets week in, week out, I actually enjoy watching this sport.

I was behind the Dallas Cowboys as favorites this year but after that disaster of a game with the Broncos, I will have to rethink it. I'm originally from Texas and this was the first year in a long time that I wanted Dallas or thought they had a chance. I'm still hopeful, though.

I do. I have followed it since John Elway, who now owns the Bronco's, used to quarterback for them. Won a Super Bowl by jumping over the defensive line for the winning touchdown. You know all those Madden video games? He used to coach the Raiders in the '70's. With him as coach, they were actually good.

It is easy actually. If you get the chance, just watch a game when Tom Brady is quarterbacking for the Patriots. You will see a textbook example of how an offense goes down the field play by play to score a touchdown. It doesn't matter who he plays anymore, he will pick apart a defense, and he will score touchdowns.

So tip number one: Never bet against the Patriots. Ever. You will lose your money.

Tip number two: Only bet against the Bronco's if they are playing the Patriots.
