Lordcole's latest topic on Poker being displayed in a bad light got me to thinking.

Do you think casino's put much thought in the lighting of the areas where games like poker and roulette are played?

You can somewhat help dictate a person's psychological state by the lighting they are exposed to.

You raise a good point plus I had no idea that lighting has an effect on someone's mood. Having said that, I have never had any issue with the lighting in the casinos though I know this varies from one place to the other.

My mood is definitely changed by changes in lighting. I would think that if you keep it too dim, people would be annoyed because those of us who have bad eyesight will have problems seeing the cards. This could lead to not staying to play and a loss to the casino but I'm sure they have already thought about that.
