Horse & Dog The conditions of the track

There are many things to consider when looking to make a kill in greyhound racing. There is always a need to study the field and the form of the dogs. I am of the opinion that the condition of the track affects the race. For instance, heavier greyhounds will race faster than their lighter counterparts on a wet track.

I have more experience with horse racing than I do with the dogs, but I agree that track conditions are important. Some dogs and horses also run better in wet conditions than others and it's good to look at their race history.

I agree as time of race, weather, and track conditions can all have an effect on performance. It's necessary to keep an eye on past results in order to know which dogs perform best under certain conditions.

Dog racing seems to involve a lot of analysis and this can be a hard one for the first timers. How easy is it for a dog to remain consistent? I have also heard that there are different conditions depending on the track a particular dog will be racing on.
