Slot tournaments

Have you ever played in a slot tournament? I haven't yet, but I've been thinking about giving it a try. My cousin and his wife teamed up at one in Las Vegas where the entry fee was $20,000 and they ended up winning $250,000.

20,000 entry fee? Crikey that's a huge amount to risk though.
But fair play to them for seeing it through and winning. What did they spend it on?!
I think I would have passed out.

That by a long way isn't the largest entry fee I have ever heard of, but it is certainly bigger than I would want to do!
I think I wiukd even think twice about an entry fee of 25.00!!

$20,000 is a lot of money but it is good to hear that they won and got back what they had spent.

How often do they go for these tournaments?

Have they entered many tournaments at that sort of level though and lost?
That must be a really awkward journey home if so!

I have entered some online slot tournaments recently but only ones where there is no entry fee.

I don't feel that I'm at a point yet wher I'm ready to do the tourneys. Maybe I will one day.
