So you have to make the right bets and avoid the bad ones if at all you want to win money at the casino. Since Pass and Come bets carry a house edge of 1.41% with an even lower percentage when with odds, is it a good idea to put the least amount of money?

The Pass and Come bets always have a low house edge so putting in a little amount of money is better since it means lesser disappointment if you lose. I have heard people say it is better to place the 6 or 8 to win or lose.

It probably is a good idea to put the least amount of money on that bet. Other bets to stay away from are the Pass line bet, the Come, and the Don't Come bets. These don't make you any money and the whole point in betting is to make as much money as you can.
