Play French 'en prison' rules or English 'surrender rules. On the even chances the casino advantage is only 1.35%.
From "The Roulette Winner" by Lee Tutor where he describes the Casino Advantage:
"Incidentally, the casino games with the lowest house
advantage ( also called : “vig”, or “juice”), are:
Baccarat, where the banker bet carries a 1.06%
advantage to the house, and in Craps, where the “pass /
don’t pass” bets have a house edge of 1.4%. Single-zero
roulette usually gives the house an advantage of
2.7%, unless there are the “surrender”, or “en prison”
rules in force on the Even chance bets, in which case
the house advantage is only 1.35% for these bets,
which isn’t bad at all.
On a US double zero’ wheel the house edge is twice as
high as that of the single zero wheel (5.26% or more),
so avoid it!
