Craps Learning the rules

I once heard it said that to grasp these rules well, you have to have good exposure and/or read widely about these rules. I kind of agree with this. When I was still new to Craps, I once bought chips while a game was being dealt. I almost put the money down while the dice was being rolled only for a good friend to remind me that it was against the rules. I have never forgotten that day!
