We all have heard of how intelligence, willingness to risk as well as being observant are necessary traits for any Poker player.

The need to put in the necessary hours and/or exercise patience cannot be overemphasized.

However, I also think that improving your memory is vital. You need to have the ability to memorise basic strategies and playing styles of the opponents, even in a span several weeks or a month.

This is very true because Poker is one of those games that require a lot engagement of the brain and coordination of the body. There's this man at the casino I go to that has a very sharp memory. He can recall moves as far as years back. I believe that overall, his memory had been of great help.

Very true @edmond. Memory is really important in Poker. At times I wonder some players are far much ahead of others but it has all to do with excelling in those little attributes and skills and putting in every effort to be a better player.
