Sports Football pools

What type of football pools do you like best? Personally, I like pools that pay out every quarter because it keeps things exciting as long as the score changes.

Yes, the ones that pay frequently are definitely better. I worked at a bar for a while that had one big pool for the season. It paid at the end of every game and ended with final Super Bowl winnings of $10,000. I never won it, but that was the biggest football pool I have ever seen.

I am not quite familiar with football pools. What exactly do they mean? Is it something similar to the jackpot?

I am usually the eager who is never afraid to try out new stuff.

Football pools have squares that people buy and each square coordinates with numbers and the teams playing. If your square matches up to the score at the end of a quarter or a half (depending on the pool), you win money. I hope that makes sense. It isn't an easy thing to explain, but I tried.

This looks like something worth trying out but I'm not sure I'd have the patience to wait for all that time. I will give this a try the next time I come across a football pool.
