Craps Etiquette

The fact that most of the casino games actually have strict rules makes gambling really exciting and honourable. One thing I learned very early is that you are never allowed to hand the dealer money when buying chips. All you are required to do is throw your money on the craps table and tell the dealer "change".

My uncle once told me that I if I wanted to be a good Craps player (or a good gambler in general) it was paramount to be keen and learn the rules as fast as I could. I always accompanied him to his favorite casino and he always insisted that I should watch. I have never gotten the chance to meet for a long time but whatever he instilled in me is still very alive.

I think it is paramount for every player to learn the rules. The basic rules in Craps can be confusing but the sooner they are understood, the better. The first rule I grasped is that a shooter should at least bet the table minimum on either the don't pass line or pass line.

You're right. The rules are the first thing one should master when learning to play any game. I am still struggling to grasp the concept of how craps is played but I'm getting there.
