General Casinos and AI

Do you think they will jump on the AI bandwagon? What would you do if an AI hostess came up to you and asked if you would like a drink?

I think they will pretty soon. It would not bother me to order a drink from an AI. It's something that we will all have to get used to eventually. I think that they may actually use AI in place of human dealers.

If they do, it won't be for a VERY long time. At least in Vegas. They may try out it in small town casinos where not a lot of money is moved, but replacing humans with AI would be a very risky move in Vegas until the tech. has been tweaked on for 10 more years.

Wouldn't bother me in the least. Frankly, I can't wait until there are some VR casino games to play. You can't tell me that it is not a topic being considered. To be able to put on a VR set and really "go into" the game. Might be a new kind of fun.

Yes I know it's not something that we will see next week but it's something that we will see eventually. The technology is getting better and once it's tested in smaller casinos it will be in the bigger casinos. I'd bet on it!

It is an interesting development to think about. Fake women "walking" around taking your orders, giving you comped drinks.

I wonder though, with what do you tip an AI waitress?

Ha! A tip? Wow can you imagine the AI holding out her hand for you to swipe your card and tip her!? Does the bartender program it to bring him tips?
