At times, it is not just about winning. I love the adrenaline rush that just comes with gambling in general. Yes, it sucks to lose, but what makes a person to keep gambling even when chasing losses? I believe there's a very thin line between addiction and passion.

I love gambling for fun (at times) by placing low stakes and seeing how the outcomes will be like. Haven't you tried to do something just to see how everything works or how the different factors in play affect the outcome?

Gambling is a fun activity that gets really exciting when you win. Most people get into it just for fun then afterwards turn pro. I know a few people who engage in it as a full time job.
