Video Poker Betting Flat

Is this strategy an option for video poker? It is where you bet the same amount all the time. According to Dan you can make more logical choices as to what is coming next, so is conservative betting like flat betting recommended? Or even allowed?

I think it makes sense to bet the same amount every time because statistically every bet you make could be a loser, so there really is no sense in betting more on one bet than the other.
