Tonight me and a few pals are off to a dog racing track.

I've been a few times before and it's always a great night. Win or lose, I know it will be great.

So I won't be here much tonight, but I'll drop in tomorrow and let you know how I got on.

Dogs racing at night looks like a real spectacle. Do most of these races take place at night and for how long will the race be taking place?

I hope the weather was convenient for guys and I guess it was real fun.

It depends on how much you bet, how many races, and what odds you can get. I've only been a few times, for entertainment not serious betting, and just placed a few bets based on the odds not the dogs because I didn't know anything about them. I got moderate profits, but it really depended on how many other betters are simply out for a good time rather than watching the odds.

Good question Tiger; I have always been thinking of this too. I have been betting on horse races once or twice in the past, ending up with moderate profits from time to time. I think it is high time I took this seriously.

You can make some decent money if you know what you're doing with the doggies. Me, when I do go it's just for the social aspect. I might drop a bet, but not always.
