Here is a site anyone can go to in order to find out where and when a race is. You can even track down your favorite dog(s). From there you can find out about wagering.

So.....where are you from?

I'm from New York and dog racing is illegal here. I would have to go to Alabama to participate in one of these races. I've always wanted to see one just once because I've heard that it can be very exciting.

I'm from a legal state and yes, the dogs can be exciting to watch. Fast little buggers, aren't they?

Even more entertaining would be if they raced the "weiner" dogs. How funny would that be? ;D

Just out of curiosity, what would cause dog racing to be illegal in some places? Watching dogs race can be very exciting most especially if you love the sight of dogs. That is quite a resourceful website.

I found that site to be useful, especially because it is not particular to a particular place. The ability to know where a race is at a specific time also greatly helps in forecasting.
