Hey guys, obviously we have this forum to talk with other gamblers and like minded people. However, is there anyone in your personal life that you talk with about gambling?

Several, like my other half, friends, the bookies, people on forums and a few others. It would make me outright unsociable if I couldn't discuss betting and sports with friends over a drink.

I talk a lot about gambling when around my friends, together with whom I share a lot of interests. I call to ask about their views on certain strategies and also when I want to share news about a great win.

My other half isn't so much into gambling and so it never comes up in any of our discussions.

I don't have many gambling friends, but I like to talk about it. People generally seem to be interested and want to know more about it. This is not a topic I like to discuss with everyone though.

It's great that you all are able to talk about your thoughts on gambling and express yourself to others. Even though some people aren't into gambling, they still do genuinely enjoy hearing about it from others.

I don't talk much about gambling; except with just a few specific people. Haven't you seen those people that swear to never gamble and never entertain such talk?

All the same, sharing is caring and the more you discuss this with the people that matter, the higher your chances of becoming a better player.

Its hard to talk/connect with people when it regards with gambling, specially people who despise/distance them self from these hobby.
I have friends who have the same interest, I connect with them.
We share games, sites and establishment.

Same here, I surround my self with good people and friends who will understand me and look out for me.
My family support my hobby as long as I keep it controlled.
The best people are your family.

I hope I have family on the same, but they are very conservative and not very supportive about it.
They already claim that I will an wasteful gambler soon or have.
It nice to hear that there are still people who are open minded.

I talk allot about gambling with my friends, that support me and always giving me good advises.
Being gambler is not disease I always tell them, its a hobby that if you will not control or practice discipline, then it can become a dangerous vice.

My mom is supportive, she just make sure I always play safe and also minding my self since gambling can be so mesmerizing.
You can always loose your self with it, that is the most fear of people who are close and concern to you.

My brother is very supportive, actually he was the one who introduce me to this world.
He is very disciplined person, he is the one teaching and looking out for me.
When it comes to gambling I consult with him.

My close circle consists of people who gamble a lot. We are always talking about gambling, exchanging ideas and discussing strategies. We take each other for treats when we win and lift each other up when we lose.
