				<p>Due to the growing popularity of online gaming, Poker players have increased significantly in the past decade, whether it be online or inside the card room. Here at Sycuan, we would like to help newcomers any way we can learn the game of Poker.</p>
<p><strong>What to expect when you walk into the Poker Room

</strong>There’s always something exciting going on in the Sycuan Poker Room in San Diego, whether it’s drawings for cars or just fun daily bonuses to reward players. Depending on the time of day, expect to see live (Texas Hold’em, Hi-Lo 7-Card Stud, Hi-Lo Omaha) and daily poker tournaments.</p>
<p><strong>Where to go

</strong>The Poker Room is located in our non-smoking wing. When you walk-in you are going to want to head to the Poker desk and sign up for a game. Behind the desk you’ll see a monitor with a list of what games are available. Each game has different minimum Buy-ins and betting levels. Check the monitor to see what betting level is right for you. If you are unsure about what game is right for you, just ask any of the employees behind the desk, they would be more than happy to assist you.</p>
<p><strong>Games we offer</strong></p>
<p>$1 – $3 Hi-Lo Stud</p>
<p>$3 – $6 Texas Hold’em</p>
<p>$4 – $8 Texas Hold’em</p>
<p>$1 – $2 No Limit Texas Hold’em (NLH)</p>
<p>$1 – $3 No Limit Texas Hold’em (NLH)</p>
<p>$3 – $6 Omaha</p>
<p>Understanding the Betting Levels & Buy-ins</p>
<p>$1 – $2 NLH (No Limit Hold’em) – this is the betting level.</p>
<p>There is a $40 Buy-in minimum & $200 Buy-in maximum for No Limit Hold’em

Betting Level in No Limit Texas Hold’em minimum is $2, and the maximum is all of your chips.</p>
<p>$3 – $6 Texas Hold’em</p>
<p>There is a minimum Buy-in of $30 for Texas Hold’em.

1st round of betting is $3, The Flop is $3, The Turn is $6, and The River is $6. (Betting is in increments of $3 for the 1st round and The Flop, and $6 for The Turn and The River). The higher the betting level (i.e. $4 – $8), the more money you’ll bet each round.</p>

<p>The Poker Dealers and Managers are always friendly and helpful so don’t hesitate to ask questions.</p>
<p>Learning to play Poker takes practice and patience, you can always enter in our daily San Diego poker tournaments, and it’s a great way to learn how to play in a live casino setting with minimal money risk (Morning Tournament Buy-ins start at just $21).</p>
