Sports Major leagues on a break

I bet on soccer since I used to play it in my younger days plus the rules aren't very complicated. I hate it since around this time of the year, the league competitions in most of the countries are over and we are headed for a long break. Tennis competitions tend to be on throughout the whole year. I will be trying my luck here.

Over time, I have gotten used to these breaks. They offer a unique opportunity to strategize and look at new trends and technology. Most leagues resume in August and I don't think we'll wait for too long.

Tennis and basketball games run all through the year. If I'm not mistaken, the major leagues take a break because of winter setting in. The players need to rest as well. Having said that, I can't wait for the English Premier to commence in around two month's time.
