Keno & Lottery Is Keno popular?

So the only bit I know about Keno is that it traces its origins back to China. I have heard that it has aspects of the lottery game and if a player is good with numbers, this is the game to go for. However, I haven't heard many people talking of it so I am wondering if it is a preference for a small section of the population.

I never heard of Keno before either until a friend introduced me to it. It does have a lot of the same qualities as the lottery which is why I think it appeals to certain types of people. I've played it a few times, but I've never won anything, so it's not really my favorite game to play.

At the casino where I usually play, Keno seems to be a big hit with the older crowd. They get together and pick numbers and chat while they're watching for their numbers. I'm not sure if this is the norm everywhere, but that's what I've noticed.

In the casino that I go to, Keno seems to not be a complicated game that's mostly played by the older folks. I like passing by their table once in a while just to see how it's played.
