Horse & Dog Horse vs dog races

My advice for these types of wagers is there are a lot more variables in horse racing than dog racing. Dogs are easier to predict Ive found, or rather simpler to apply a staking plan like progression.

Its not the dogs you are trying to predict. You are just in competition with other bettors and need to be smarter. Dont look at who will win, look at the best payouts for the real odds of winning.

Value bets. I made bundles with it in the past. It applies to sports betting too. Some of the bigger online betting companies allow you to bet on just about anything.

The problem with dog and horse racing is there is now too much smart money being wagered. You can get less smart money on weekends where you compete with more of the impulse gamblers. During the week monday to friday are the more serious punters so getting ahead with value bets is harder.

If you check the odds with any race, right before bets close, the longer shots or better value bets get covered in the dying seconds before bets close. thats the value betting wagers. I have friends who use auto bet sofware like software called ebay sniper. It checks the odds constantly then bets if conditions are ripe, then bets. Top idea but Im focused on craps.

I've only been to horse races because there is one locally. I didn't know that they still did dog racing because here in the US it is illegal in forty states. I bet it would be much easier to predict the outcome of a dog race, though, compared to a horse race.

I have to agree with dicesetter on value bets. I have made money from them as well. I always thought it was easier to predict which horse would win compared to dogs. What are some of these variables Steve? I may need to start concentrating on dog racing then.

It hadn't hit me that dog racing is also as popular as horse racing is. To me, it is more exciting to watch horses race in comparison to dogs. The concept of value bets is one that is really being used now.

Personally, I prefer betting on horses over betting on dogs. Horse racing provides more opportunities for winning and in my opinion has deeper analysis and more ways to minimize risk. There are still good wins to be had betting on the dogs but you'll need to know what you're doing.

I also prefer horse racing over dog racing but betting here is nothing I have ever tried before. The idea of a software that observes the odds is a good one indeed.

Thank you for this. I had no idea that there was more to horse racing in comparison to dog racing. This is great insight and I believe anyone starting out here will find this very useful.
