General Good money management

A lot has been said about setting a win and/or loss limit, accepting that gambling isn't easy as well as the fact that one should know the best time to walk away from the casino. However, the ability to control, preserve and build the bankroll a player started with, IMO, is something most of us struggle with. I'm still learning to do this.

Good money management is very important and most gamblers take time to master this. Again, building on and preserving the initial bankroll requires patience and good planning. This happens only when you win consistently.

You need to approach gambling like you would any other business. As much as we all do it fun, it makes sense to strongly desire to derive some profit from it. You cannot keep losing and continue to stick to the same strategies. A successful gambler uses his winnings to place wagers.
