Craps Different versions of craps?

How many different versions of craps are there, aside from the basic game? I thought it was all much the same until I started hearing about things like Agua Caliente, Craps with Cards, Pala and more. Have you ever olayed any of these versions? How are they different from normal craps?

Aren't cards often a fallback when dice aren't available or can't be used? California's laws say there has to be an element of skill involved so some casinos use modified card decks running from Ace to six and draw two cards instead of rolling dice. I've never played it, but I've heard it actually gives the player a slight edge on Don't Pass Line bets.
