Bonuses or scams?

I've seen a lot of advertisements for online casinos that offer bonuses, but a little research revealed that most of the time they don't actually pay up. What's the deal with that? How are you supposed to know if you'll be able to access the bonus?

I simply tell a lot of people to stick to the normal B&M casinos. My friend blindly got into online casinos and his money was gone in seconds. He won but his winnings never saw light of day.

He feels terrible every other time this subject comes up.

I have to agree with Shaqque because I haven't heard good things coming out of the online casino realm. Maybe it's just U.S. citizens that are having a hard time; I don't know if that makes a difference. I just know I've heard a lot of stories along the lines of Shaqque's friend.

I have my own fears about online casinos. Are there B&M casinos that have their replicas online?

I would assume that this is the safest way to go. There are so many scams online plus I never understand the concept of bonuses.

Well, never mind that then. If I'm going to run the risk of not only losing the bonus but also possibly losing my money, I'm not interested. I guess this is why lawmakers are being so tough about the online casinos in the U.S. I just don't understand why the online casinos are so shady. Why not run it like a regular casino that actually pays up when someone wins? Could you imagine winning big at a B&M casino and they tell you there were 15 different requirements you were supposed to meet and didn't, so you can't have your money?

Josie, that would really be crazy. I think there's a need for the lawmakers to do all they can to rein in on these rogue casinos.

In this way, there'll be less vulnerability plus I think we could still say there are reputable online casinos out there. All that's important is for some due diligence to be done..

That would be the worst thing.

I've never known anyone to get caught out like that, but I did have a friend who had a free online chip, hit a nice slot win that won them over 2.5k, and then they realised there was a restriction on the free chip that said the maximum cash out was 25.00........
