Sports Betting on the team you support

I call it loyalty so I never let myself fall into the lure of placing a bet on my team just because it is enjoying a good run. There are times when there will really be good odds but to to get the pressure off yourself, it is easier betting on teams you do not support.

Nonetheless, I know a couple of friends who do not mind adding their team to a particular combination.

I think that you can as long as you are betting based on logic and not on emotion. People generally bet on their team and assume their team will win, even if the evidence doesn't suggest this.
