General An interesting scenario

You are home one evening and then you realize that you haven't bought your lottery ticket. You call your friend, who lives nearby, to buy you a ticket.

This ends up being the winning ticket of some good amount of money. Would you share your winnings with your friend? Can they lay claim to the prize considering that they bought the ticket?

Such scenarios are those that I don't fancy finding myself in. I guess it all depends on the nature of the friendship and what the person who bought the ticket demands. For instance, they could claim to have bought the ticket only for the winner to disguise it as theirs.

I have have had many people buy me tickets before but this has never resulted in a win. This seems like a serious catch-22 situation but it should be easy to solve this, depending on the nature of your friendship.
