Yes the hardware is probably a basic programmable chip. Unless he glued in the chip it could easily be reprogrammed. But it would be cheaper and more viable to use other hardware. If you send me the instructions for the device i will know its algorithm well enough. then i can tell you more. I've dealt with roulette computers long enough to know the design from instructions.
