If you love to bet in soccer, this is normally one of the options available. Over or under 2.5 goals means that the total number of goals to be scored in the game will total more or less than 2.5. For instance, the Burnley vs Liverpool and Mancherster United vs Southampton games ended 2-0 so these were under 2.5 results whereas Watford vs Chelsea ended 2-1 and this was an over 2.5 result.

It can be a risky bet at times but I love using it once in a while.

I used this option just a few times with either a high or low scoring team. A team like Atletico Madrid had a lot of 1-0 margins last season whereas Real Madrid and Barcelona always score many goals. This is not a bet type to rely on always.

If you think it will be a tight game, go for under 2.5, if you think it will be open then choose over. The odds are usually pretty good too.

At times soccer can be unpredictable and when this happens, teams deemed to be obvious winners often end up losing or drawing. This type of bet is risky but works based on your assessment of how the teams are likely to perform.
