Craps The bets to avoid?

There are those bets that promise really high payouts but at the same time giving the house a high edge. Has anyone heard of the Big 6 and Big 8 bets? The house edge is normally around 9%, with a payout of 1 to 1. The worst bit is that if you miss, you could lose a lot money. Are these the bets a Craps player should never think twice about?

I'm too conservative to give the house a bigger edge for the chance of a bigger payoff. This is one reason I never lose big, if I ever lose at all. At the worst, I break even at the end of a session.

That makes the two of us @zephyr 12. At the same time, there are those people that love to take big risks. I think that it will take me a lot of time to reach that point. I prefer smaller and less consinsent bets.
