General Thanksgiving at the casino

My sister and her family will be here for Thanksgiving and they have a wacky idea to go to the casino for Thanksgiving dinner! The casino will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner buffet style on Thanksgiving. I have never ever had a Thanksgiving dinner at a casino! What do you think about this?

If you're all about the food, the surroundings don't matter. That, and you're with family. That's what it's all about.

I would do it in a heartbeat.

The one thing that I keep thinking is that I won't have to do the dishes! With our family there are always a ton of dishes to do after we eat. If we eat at the casino, there are no dishes! And I have eaten the buffet there and it is pretty good. So no dishes and good food, guess I will have to tell my sister that this is a go!

I've been considering a casino Thanksgiving meal as well. Nobody wants to stress over buying and cooking a big meal when you can go out and eat at the buffet for very little considering. Happy Halloween and Thanksgiving Everyone!

This sounds like a good idea plus there is no harm in trying out something. We have this cardinal rule that the majority will always have their way so I am sure we would go for this idea if the majority of us were for it.

And if you think about it, it will be cheaper to eat at the casino instead of buying all the food ourselves. The turkey alone costs about as much as one buffet. This plan is looking better and better the more I get to think about it!
