So there you are, all ready and set to play in a casino. Do you normally figure out things in your mind prior to playing? They say that this is a game of chance but then how come not everyone of us wins? So my friend suggests something to me. He tells me that whenever he is set to play, he spins the wheel a couple of times before starting his turn so as to determine if there any biases. Do you think this helps by any chance?

So you want information on wheel bias, why not ask an expert, the very people that made millions in the first place.

Modern bias techniques are much more complicated. See http://www.roulettephysics.com/roulette-wheel-bias/

I've heard of people doing this, but I haven't figured it out yet. I guess they go in and spin a couple of times to see if they notice that there is a wheel defect before the casino does. The guide that steve has provided does a really great job at explaining how to spot defects like this.

The link that steve has posted basically sums everything up and I did not know that wheel bias exists in the modern day. This had me thinking that there are really many factors to consider besides just walking into a casino and starting to play. Do all casinos ensure that wheel bias has been eliminated?
