Poker Should you ever bluff in Poker?

People often counter this question by saying that it isn't much about whether or not a player should bluff but rather how often this should happen. Other people also say that you should bluff every 10 hands or so but I believe that this decision should come down to every individual situation. Or should you bluff when there is a high chance of your opponent folding?

It's really player-dependent but you have to bluff from time to time for sure. There is no such a thing like an exact number. It depends on how weak or tight your opponent is. You have to play for some time with him to draw some conclusions. Some players just don't like folding and will call you down with anything. Others are too afraid and play very cautiously. One thing is for sure- staying away from bluffs is not the right way to approach the game.

I agree that a player shouldn't completely stay away from bluffing. Nonetheless, I think you have to know how to pick your spots. As you say, it is important to find the right opponents. Again, I prefer it when I'm bluffing head-to-head, as opposed to trying to trick an entire lineup of players.
