Keno & Lottery Scratch off for gifts

I am giving my family members scratch off lottery tickets for Christmas this year. I did it for a few of my nephews last year and they all loved it so much that I am going to spread it out to everyone! The only thing is if someone wins, we will all want a cut of it! Anyone else do this for gifts?

I have done this twice before, yes.
Once was for my partner of the time, and yes I did assume that if he had scooped a big jackpot I would have got (at least) half of it!!

They make great little stocking stuffers, don't they? I have done this in the past, I may do it again this year too.

Is it that time already? Again?

Yes it is that time of the year again! Hopefully this year one of will be able to come back to this thread and say that one of our gifts made someone a very happy person!

Seriously speaking, what would happen if one of your friends or family members won a jackpot, courtesy of you? Would you demand payment? I have never thought of such gifts before but I already feel like this can be exciting!

Well since it was given as a gift, it's technically theirs so we really can't demand payment. I sure would like a cut though and hopefully my family members would feel grateful and share the wealth with me!

It’s a tricky one, but as said above, if you give a winner as a gift, the winnings are theirs. But I would like to think friends or family would share....
