Craps "Same Dice"

Do you call "Same dice" when the dice go off the table? For non-players, it is a call to request the dealer gives you back the dice you picked to shoot with instead of two from the standard pool. I know some people feel it is lucky, but I prefer not to, because those dice have already been unlucky enough to fall off the table! So you stick with the dice or get new ones?

I prefer to play using the same dice rather than use a different one. I have heard of some crafty players who intentionally drop the dice with the aim of switching it with a loaded one. This clearly translates to cheating.

I ask for same dice because that is what most of the superstitious players want you to do!

In reality, it just does not matter. Each roll is an independent trial.
