Are there any such things as roulette tournaments? I noticed that most of these games have some sort of competition like that, but I have never actually seen one of those where roulette is concerned.

I have heard of these kind of tournaments in roulette that are meant to be a way to reward competitiveness and initiative from the players. They are a fun and popular spin on the normal game.

I think you would be hard pressed to find any sort of game that won't have tournaments dedicated to it. As long as people enjoy playing and watching the game there will always be tournaments around it.

There are lots of tournaments, even some online ones. They work in lots of different ways - some are pay for entry and then get a set amount of chips and reward the first, second, and third finishers. Other simply require a low entry fee and then players provide their own bankroll. Check the rules before entering anything.

Aren't these tournaments the ones that set apart the pros from the rest? A professional gambler will most probably get into a competition with a higher entry fee. It would be interesting to be part of a very competitive roulette tournament, even if this meant being a spectator.

A lot of the tournaments in other sports are easy to enter even for those who aren't particularly rated as experts or at the top of their game. I hope that is the case with roulette. Gives us hope for one day being able to get in on one.

I can see how these games might be the place to set apart the pros from the rest, but I think it's always best to give everyone the same chance to be able to enter and prove themselves.
