Sports Rigging Tournamnets

Do you think that sports organizers rig sports tournaments (such as the playoffs and finals), so that there will be more games, which gets them more money. Take for example the NBA Finals. Do you think they'd make Golden Sate throw Game 4, so there will be a Game 5?

A lot of my friends were really excited by the fact that there'll be a game 5. Honestly speaking, I haven't been watching NBA lately and most of the wagers I place here are normally based on the cumulative game points as opposed to betting on an outright winner. I wouldn't completely rule out tournaments that are rigged as we've heard of such instances many times before.

It is sad that despite the progress made in the gambling industry, there are still bad elements like rigged tournaments. They at times take away the legitimacy in some places. Is there a way such instances can be eradicated completely?
