General Proper etiquette when playing

There is need to have decorum. For instance, always ask before sitting on an empty chair. It could be that someone is playing more than one hand. Other habits like trying to give unsolicited advice to other players or putting your hands on the table when the dice are rolling can be annoying.

I've heard that putting your hands on the table at most games is something that you shouldn't be doing. I've also been told that you should tip the dealer every time you win a hand. Isn't there also something about not being allowed to take pictures in a casino where people are gambling?

I agree with all of these, being polite is a basic prerequisite in my opinion as you may share a table with other gamblers for hours. Also, getting advice you haven't asked for is always annoying. If you have a special technique just put it on display for all to see.

It is unfortunate that people at times miss out on the small things and end up being a nuisance in the casino. I am not sure whether taking pictures is allowed but it sounds to me like one of those things a player may want to avoid doing.
