Slots Odds on the machines

Is it true that casinos outside of the UK do not disclose the odds on the slot machines? I don't see much significance in the non-disclosure because of the low probability of winning some good money on slots. I mostly use the 'one play strategy' that involves playing one slot with the highest amount possible (once), continuing to play if you win but moving to another machine if no wins are forthcoming.

Some states regulate how much the payouts are for slots. Here is a list of a few and mine is one. 90% is about what I expect, however, if someone makes a big win, it will skew the percentages for the other players according to the internet.
  • Arizona: 80% – 100%
  • Arkansas: 83%
  • Florida: 85%
  • Kansas: 80%
  • Louisiana: 80% – 99.9%
  • Maine: 89%
  • Maryland: 87%
  • Michigan: 75%
  • Minnesota: 80% – 95%
  • Montana: 80%
  • New Mexico: 80% – 96%
  • North Carolina: 83% – 98%
  • North Dakota: 80% – 100%
  • West Virginia: 80% – 95%
  • Wisconsin: 80% – 100%

So don't play the slots in Michigan obviously.

I always did know that you don't want to play a machine right after someone hits it big. Wait for that old armoured truck to come by and switch out the cash before you play that same machine again.

That's definitely a good one. It is really interesting that people still flock the slot machines, still hoping to make a kill after a player has won a huge amount. It looks to me like slots could just be another form of entertainment?

Pretty much. You can win, you just won't win big a lot. Ever see the senior center vans pull up to a casino? They typically flock to the slot floors. Just a way to pass the time for a lot of folks

The best strategy is 3 x. For example: put$ 1, then$ 3, then$ 9, then$ 27 ............ x * 3 . But if you have little money, then there is a risk of losing all the money.

i's say this rule doesn't apply to every slot, in fact the algorithm in some casinos are changed frequently, so you can never rely on this..
