Roulette Memorizing best and worst bets possible?

I was reading a thread here earlier which stated some of the best and the worst bets someone can make in roulette, and it left me wondering - is it possible to memorize all of those and use the knowledge in a game or are there just too many of them?

Most players know the bets for their version of roulette very well after playing for a while, and that means they'll know the general bets for most types. A few outlying bets might change and the odds might change between versions but the general bets, like red/black, line or single number, carry across. It comes with practice.

I think that the more you play the more these different kinds of bets will start to pop out and become very easy for you to learn rather than trying to memorize them individually.

Thanks for the reply, tito. I'm finding out more and more that there is just too much information when it comes to the bets that it would be a mistake to try and learn them all at once.

So basically it's best to learn by doing, right? That's the best way to be able to remember the different bets anyway. You're more likely to retain the information when you're actually playing the game.

I think that may be right, Kutcher. When you consider the sheer amount of information that you would have to ingest with these endless strategies for these games, I think it's best to learn by playing and only focus on the information that you find pertinent to your style of playing.
