I think that all those are main factors in determining whether someone is going to be successful in the long run or not. You need to have the skill and knowledge and once you have that then a bit of luck doesn't hurt either.
I think luck counts for very little in the game when you have the right level of skill and by practicing that skill, you can overshadow even talent when you have the confidence of knowing that you can win because you prepared for it.
