General International gamblers?

Do we have any international gamblers here, who play in several countries? How many countries do you play in, and do language barriers come into play or is gambling a universal language?

Just asking because of a bad joke a friend made that I was going international 'cos I've played in the UK and US. There's not a language barrier there to worry about!

I only play in my country. How would you be able to register in another country? Would you use a VPN? I'm curious to know because I have tried this before in vain. Which sites (in the UK) do you bet in? There isn't any language barrier there at all!

I only play in my country for now, but I am certainly interested in playing in other countries as soon as I'm confident enough in my skills. I would like to find out how to go about registering online.

I didn't mean online, but that's good as well! I guess registering to play at online casinos outside your home country must be pretty easy given the number based in offshore places and small islands. If only the residents could play that would really cut their income.

Well, I travel a lot and I can tell you that whichever country I'm in I always find a way to get to one or more casinos if only just to experience something different. It's so much fun comparing how they do things to how they are done back home.

If you count holidays, a couple. I always allow myself a small bankroll on holidays and work trips so I can see different ways to play and discover new games and versions of games. I've never found a language barrier too hard as most places I go overseas are aimed at extracting money from tourists, so they have someone on staff who speaks English.

Whenever I travel to another country I always make it a point to play in at least one of their casinos. I've never really had much luck in casinos other than my local ones, though.

Several but mainly European, so travel is easier. It is easier to get into a game in countries where I speak the language and ones where I am already familiar with the culture. Body language changes between cultures, so if you are trying to detect a bluff, it helps to know the area. For games where you're just playing the odds it doesn't matter as much.
