Craps How much luck is at play?

Do you think that Craps is a beatable game? There are those players that love to make small bets while aiming for a big bankroll yet there are those that risk large amounts of money. In this case then, would we say that there are players capable of beating the game over time?

We cannot rule out the element of luck in gambling, but as far as Craps is concerned, you need some level of skill. Look at it this way: the shooter can be able to influence the dice or in a way, make it show a particular number. So both the players and shooter need to be somehow skilled.

After the post I read about how dice are made and how you can affect them, I'm not sure that I will ever play craps again. There are a few of us that used to play at a club. No wonder that the only ones that seemed to win were the owners of the game.

You can win June, but at the end of the day the house will win more. They have to in order to stay in business.

How does luck enhance the chances of winning ?
Which is more important , luck or skill??

I do feel it is a beatable game but money management is a huge part of the game also don’t feel you need to stay on every table, you would like 2 good shooters on the table

I find it rather interesting how luck can change with just a little , INFLUENCE.

I am firmly of the opinion that luck plays very little in the overall outcome of the game of craps .
When you weigh conscious choices against what people consider to be luck , introducing some influence
should outweigh luck every time.

Consider luck , what is luck. ?
Luck really is nothing more than a combination
of unrelated circumstantial events operating
strictly by chance to bring about a
DESIRED OR HOPED FOR RESULT.

Where the controversy comes in , is with the term beatable . It is possible to win
and win long term , with the right betting strategy.

If you have an edge, you win long term. If you dont have an edge, any winnings are just short-term variance aka luck.
