I would think that entertainment revenues along with taxes are good for our economy. You do have to figure in the people that ruin themselves financially because we have to support them until they can stand for themselves. What do you think?

I don't think people who ruin themselves financially need the support of their community or the government. They still have jobs. They ruined themselves on a hobby they do on their spare time. They still go to work though.

I agree that gaming facilities are good for the economy. The tax dollars can help a great deal.

What I have always said is that any person always has the liberty to choose whether or not to participate in gambling. Getting into problem gambling and addiction emanates from a lack of discipline and so I believe that as much as they'd need support, it still goes back to who an individual is.

I think if you take gambling like a hobby then it's good for our economy. I just want to say if you take gambling like a experiential hobby that do experiments with lotto or lottery numbers to increase chances to win. When you are a winner that is good for you and community.

The casinos have been good for our local economy. They have brought many jobs and the tax money has improved our roads etc. The casinos bring in lots of different jobs. With a casino there are more hotels, restaurants, etc. This means different types of jobs for different people. More people out there making money is good news for the economy.

I have to agree with lordcole in that lack of discipline and the ability to rule your own life is definitely a key factor in whether you are an addictive type personality or not. Being able to say "no" when that is the appropriate response to a given question.

Alas, in many countries for some reason that the casino is banned, but it can bring a lot of good
