Sports Games thrown.

This is kind of branching off of my last thread about sports organizers rigging tournaments. Are there any game in the past that you can think of that you are sure the game was thrown?

I think you are referring to fixed matches? I've lost before even when I was sure that the results would be in my favor. It is true that matches are fixed at times but the penalties are normally very serious. I can recall several teams that have been banned or demoted to the lower leagues because of this.

At times the results in some of these games can be very shocking. Many times before, I have felt that the outcome of some games were manipulated. I think the respective federations should do something to weed out this vice.
