Casinos Gambling with Bitcoin taking off?

The Coingaming Group has just recruited one of William Hill's directors to their board. They operate bitcasino.io, a bitcoin only casino.

Bitcoin always seemed like a bit of an odd trend, but the anonimity it provides is good for gamblers. Would you gamble with bitcoin rather than hard currency or tokens, or do you just see it as a natural move? Does the casino you play at take bitcoin?

The casino I play in doesn't take bitcoins though I have been in such a casino before. It seems to be a growing trend and I see a lot of articles talking about about gambling online with bitcoins. Have you ever tried this before?

Never heard of such a thing, however, with the rise in the price of BitCoin, I can understand why they have done it. There has to be a lot of income to be had using BitCoins in a casino. If the price is as volatile as it has been, just the fluctuation in price could be a windfall.

The is no way on God's green earth I would gamble with Bitcoins. The people who do that have one foot in a loony bin and the other on a banana peel. :p

In my opinion.

Way too volatile and the transaction fee's are highway robbery. Nope. No way.

Honestly I don't really know too much about Bitcoins. I don't think that the casinos around here accept them. At least I haven't seen or heard of any of them taking them.

Well, maybe not the casinos mentioned here, but there are a lot of bitcoin casinos which accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Transactions fees are extremely low now, much lower than processing of a bank cards, or bank transfers, while being much faster at the same time.

I see that some of you are still doubting about bitcoin, but I think the last year proved that it's not going to disappear.
I would like to mention much more advantages over traditional casinos like higher level of privacy and anonymity, lower betting fees, lesser restriction by the country, etc.

Just give it a shot, because IMHO these casinos are change the world of gambling from the roots.
