Roulette Free online practice versions?

When I'm not near a casino I tend to play online to keep my eye in on the odds and bets. Most of the online free play ones are rather basic, but I do like the game available from games-player(here) because it actually has better graphics than the others, although the sound can be irritating. Do you play any of the online versions, aside from the actual paid casino sites?

I'm not too happy with that one, because I played it earlier and it cheats. There's no other way to describe the game saying the winning number is 24 when the ball is clearly on three, which would have been a winning bet for me. The wheel layout's not standard either and doesn't always match what's on the table.

Couldn't that possibly be due to a glitch or a bug in the system rather than a machine that's outright cheating the players? I'd hate to think that there are actually machines that cheat players out there.

I'm one of those people that believe in playing in the casino. Perhaps one day when I'll be close to being a pro, I'll consider playing online once in a while. Looks like fun when you get used to it.

In this day and age of internet fraud, I think that those of us who aren't savvy in how to avoid getting cheated and scammed will do better just playing live games inside the casino.

I don't think that any person who really intends to make some money from this can do it playing these games online. I don't know maybe I'm just old school, but I think it's best to play the games live unless you're just playing for fun. Same goes for the practice versions.

I think to be on the safe side it's best when you play only in the casino until you understand exactly how these online versions of these games work and how to avoid getting scammed through some of the less reputable sites.

Since these are free games where players practice playing and you don't play for money or give any credit card details, getting scammed isn't a concern. Unfortunately they aren't coded as well as the actual online games, which means that any practice a player gets is useless if the game is broken or less than random.

I agree with Tolly. If these games are free then odds are they really aren't that good for practice anyway. I think that it might be worth investing some time in researching alternatives if you really want to get good at this game.

As you mention, doing this just for practise doesn't sound like a bad idea. There are very many illegitimate sites and it is better to play for fun unless you are playing the real game in the casino. Has anyone of you ever won some money while playing in the online casinos?
