Casinos Entrance fees

All the casinos I have been to don't charge any entrance fees. I guess this would discourage patrons from visiting the casino.

My friend (who loves club trotting) tells me that he once came across one that charges an entrance fee. He found this really odd.

I'm not sure but I think there are those casinos designated for registered members only.

I've never heard of casinos that charge an entrance fee. Perhaps this is done to avoid idlers in a casino that is very popular. A 'members only' option sounds like a good idea but then wouldn't a casino prefer more people flocking the premises?

I have never been to one that charges for entrance. What I know is that there are certain areas that are normally reserved for high rollers or specific members. I don't think it is a bad idea to have restrictions.

If you look at it from another perspective, charging entrance fees can be a way of ridding the casino of idlers or people who are not really there to gamble as such. However, it can only work if the casino is popular and gets lots of human traffic.
